GEOLANDAR H/T4 G062 Mileage Guarantee

Terms and Conditions

  1. To be eligible for the YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR H/T4 G062 Mileage Guarantee, you must purchase a set of four or more tyres plus a wheel alignment in a single transaction at a Yokohama Authorised Dealer.

  2. The tyre purchaser must register their purchase of GEOLANDAR H/T4 G062 tyres at www.yokohama.com.au within 30 days. Register by navigating to the
    YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR H/T4 G062 Mileage Guarantee landing page and completing the online registration form.

  3. At the time of purchase, the GEOLANDAR H/T4 G062 tyres must be fitted to the same vehicle. The vehicle must have wheel balancing and a wheel alignment conducted at fitment.

  4. The mileage guarantee is only applicable for the GEOLANDAR H/T4 G062 tyre and is provided in addition to the Yokohama Tyre Australia Manufacturer Warranty.

  5. The mileage guarantee is not transferable for a change of vehicle ownership, and expires after 90,000km, or 5 years from the date of purchase, or because the tyres are no longer serviceable, whichever comes first.

  6. Tyre maintenance must be conducted every 10,000km or 6 months, whichever comes first. Tyres must be rotated at every service, and the service must include a visual inspection of the tyres, checking for appropriate tyre pressure, wheel balancing and wheel alignment, plus include any other appropriate services.

  7. Tyre inflation pressure must be set and maintained to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended tyre pressures (refer vehicle tyre placard).

  8. In the event of a claim, purchaser must present tyre(s) to the Yokohama Authorised Dealer (place of purchase) along with the original tyre purchase invoice, mileage guarantee registration confirmation email and tyre maintenance records.
    Note: Purchase invoice must show tyre description, odometer reading, date of installation, wheel alignment and any other tyre services provided.

  9. Replacement tyre(s) refers to the GEOLANDAR H/T4 G062 or an equivalent priced YOKOHAMA branded tyre should the GEOLANDAR H/T4 G062 become unavailable. Any extra costs or fees / government charges must be paid by the purchaser.

  10. YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR H/T4 G062 tyres claimed under the mileage guarantee, must be disposed of by the Yokohama Authorised Dealer. The purchaser may be subject to disposal fees.

Exclusions

This Mileage Guarantee excludes the following:

  • Tyres which are unevenly worn down to the treadwear indicators (1.6mm).
  • Tyres which are not worn down to the treadwear indicators in the main circumferential
    tread grooves (where treadwear indicators are located).
  • Tyres supplied as original equipment on a new vehicle.
  • GEOLANDAR H/T4 G062 tyre purchases that have not been registered within 30 days of purchase.
  • Tyres used in commercial services including but not limited to police, taxi, Uber or other ride-sharing services, national accounts, government, fleet, contract sales, mine sites, motorsport, competitive use, and towing.
  • Damages including but not limited to punctures, impact damage, breaks/cuts from foreign objects, improper repair, snow chains, vandalism, theft, wreck, collision, fire, wilful damage, or chemical degradation.
  • Any tyre that has not been repaired in accordance with the industry standards.
  • Wear caused by improper use, including but not limited to improper inflation, overloading, wheel imbalance, misalignment, misapplication, defective vehicle mechanical components, wheel spins (burnouts), competition, racing, towing, or off-road use.
  • The YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR H/T4 G062 Mileage Guarantee is not available on tyres purchased outside of Australia.

Your Legal Rights

  • Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
  • You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
